Bourbon Sour
I’m on a sour kick right now - honestly shake up any combination of booze, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white and I will consume it.
I’ve been playing with lots of variations on this recipe but I thought I’d start with the classic.
50ml Bourbon
30ml Lemon Juice
15ml Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
Lemon Zest
You need to add about 4 dashes of bitters. Keeping it local I used Dillon’s Rhubarb bitters, which I picked up on my last visit to Niagara.
Put everything into a shaker (including a big piece of lemon zest) with a handful of ice and shake it hard, then strain into a glass.
Sip and enjoy
